I Have Been Offended Before |

Hello Everyone,
I suppose that my take on Christian living is a bit different. I cannot be terribly hard on others. I depend entirely on God's mercy. The Law would kill me dead. The Spirit has given me life.
In other words, I know that I have made many mistakes in life and my transgressions have been countless. I think that God prefers that I reach out in a redemptive fashion. I cannot be too anxious to find fault with others, even in the context of business.
Yes, people have been very offensive to me. There have been times that I did have to assert myself a bit like Sue described. However, one would pretty well have to blow smoke in my face to get under my skin.
The girl in the dress. By the grace of God, I could keep my eyes off of her. If it was truly that bad, I would personally endeavor to discuss the matter with her. What if her attitude was right.
I know you cannot cast your pearls before swine. Before calling a boss, I would deal with it at current level, which is where Christ said do it. No need to escalate the situation needlesly, if matters can be resolved on level one.
God did not appoint us to drive people away from the kingdom. We have to handle people in a redemptive manner. We have to do it the way God told us.
