Matt W.
I cant say that anything drastic has changed... Actually, I would say it's the frustration of not moving forward or being able to accomplish any kind of real step closer to being able to focus on building the business rather than being stuck in it. The harder I try & the more I work, the more obviously burnt I become. Don't get me wrong.... I love what I do, and am proud of where I've been able to bring my business. But somewhere along the way I hit an invisible roadblock and for roughly 3 yrs have been trying to get over it - only to seem like I'm going backwards. I also think (really I know) my confidence (in building a business in general) has been shaken. That being the consequences of planning an attack, putting the plan into action, and staying in the exact same position. Remember, I'm talking 3 years worth of apparently wrong/bad/unproductive decisions. So now I question & analyze myself to the point that NOTHING gets accomplished. My business is not in jepordy - I am. I work everyday to see if somehow I can get a milimeter closer to some kind of progression... .... All I get are spinning wheels ..... Sooner or later I'm going to lose a tire.... ... All this ... and to thibk I am/have been one of the most positive people you could meet. Just a little gun-shy & shaken ..... But still looking to move forward! How about it! Matt W. > > > > Eric Sohn wrote: >

Burnout - happens to us all. I've enjoyed the discussion so far. But, it's one thing to "reignite" - it's another to see it coming.

A wonderful question (in my humble opinion) to ask when you're in a bad situation is - What has changed? After all, you didn't start out burned out, did you?

So, Matt (since it was your thread) - what changed? How do you find or recreate what was lost/changed?
