First off, would you like surveys (like the one I'm about to ask you) to be here, or on SurveyMonkey? I'm avoiding SurveyMonkey right now because you might prefer not going off-Ryze to do short surveys.
Second, please rate on a 1-10 scale (10 being the best) your level of agreement with the following statements:
- The discussions on the topics here are interesting.
- There are topics that I think are inappropriate for this network.
- The topics discussed are interesting to me.
- There are topics I'd like to see discussed that aren't being covered.
BTW, good survey design dictates (from an excellent article I read in Harvard Business Review) that you alternate positively-worded and negatively-worded questions to minimize response bias.
Also, please tell me which topics you'd like to see discussed here that aren't, which ones we are discussing you're not fond of, and what other changes you'd like to see.
Finally, I'd also like to know if I should be offering publicly, as opposed to privately, services like teleclasses, webinars or free coaching sessions. Right now, except for the offer of the visioning teleclass, I've made offers of coaching privately, but wondered if I should periodically offer publicly, for those who might be too shy to broach the question themselves.
And (duh!) would that violate our guidelines on advertising? Just because I'm the Grand Poobah (Remember the Flintstones?) doesn't mean I get to flaunt the rules, after all.
