Eric Sohn		Folks - I received a post yesterday that was a pitch for a member's services. I've already written back saying that I wasn't approving it, but I also wanted to let folks have their say. My thought is that this network is not an appropriate place for people trolling for business through posts. I don't have a problem if you mention your services that address the topic being discussed, but something like - If you want bigger, better widgets, come see our web page - is inappropriate, IMHO. I'd rather people PM'ed folks with their pitches. Now, I know that others require ADV in front of blatant ads - and it sure would boost our message count. On the other hand, while we want foot traffic, so that more people learn from what we discuss here, I think that having ads detracts, not adds, to the attractiveness of the network.
