Rebecca,

As a person who runs a business networking organization, most of my time is spent organizing events so that others can make quality business contacts and very often, my days run into 18 or 20 hours in duration.

With this in mind, I asked my husband "Honey, am I easy to live with?" He promptly retorted "I am not even going to go near that one". My response was clinical but objective: "Look. Monday I ramp up to the event. Tuesday I am tense and by Wednesday I am a Prozak case. That leaves 4 days of the week where I am a pleasure to live with, so at least you KNOW what to expect of me."

Don't worry about your husband. At least, like me, you are predictable and men like to know what to expect!

Fun, love and laughter to you!
:)

Once I'm actually in the "doing" -- or everything started and rolling, I'm perfectly fine. Beforehand, however, I do a lot of sweating and running around and changing my mind and losing my breath and panicing. Besides being quite uncomfortable for me, it drives my husband nuts.

I've always felt that a good hostess has everything perfect even though my own experience at events is otherwise. I love chipping in, setting the table, helping with dishes, stacking folding chairs, etc. It gets done faster and is most times greatly appreciated.
